His taiko drum play was amazing! So fast that I can’t see his arms in blur!
He used 4 drums and 2 gongs.

The animation will definitely be done very soon!!!

Thank you very much Joji Hirota for the great taiko perfomance!!!

ANIMATSUDA will be recording Joji Hirota‘s taiko drum sounds on next Tuesday!
We are glad that Joji has agreed to do the taiko sounds for Pixilate to Heal Animation.
Thank you Joji Hirota for your support!

Pixilate to Heal’s 6th animation shooting destination was Kizuna Japan at St Mary’s church, Acton London on 30th April 2011.

The event was divided into 2 parts. Daytime event included Japanese martial arts demonstrations, origami and taiko drum workshop, face painting, calligraphy and Japanese food sales. Evening event was Japanese music and dance performances. We loved great taiko drum performances! Watch it on YouTube! Here!

ANIMATSUDA did the filming during the daytime event at outside the church. During our lunch time, the tripod seemed to have moved slightly and couldn’t get this back into the original position, so we had 2 different backgrounds outside the church on this day.

We had Japanese happi to wear for the participants and had another great filming day! Thank you very much all of you for your support!
Thank you very much Chikako Sasaki and Tony- san for helping us animate!!

The photos are available to view on Picasa Web Albums “Kizuna Japan 30th April 2011“.

They have raised £4600 for British Red Cross: Japan Tsunami Relief.
