Went to see Matthew Barney’s “River of Fundament” (2014) UK premiere at English National Opera on Sunday. Nearly 6 hours opera film.

River of Fundament
It’s been 10 years since I watched Cremaster Cycle series for the first time.
As seen on Cremaster, River of Fundament had huge and extravagant sets, crazy cars, lots of greasy, sticky, flaky, filthy stuff, and amazing soundtrack and cinematography. And this one seemed to be based more on some story, had lots more dialogues and singing.

I think I slept for about 30 mins, it was unavoidable. It’s an amazing film, which some scenes would be very memorable, but I don’t know what to say. I don’t think I’m ready to fully appreciate it.

I remember Cremaster series was visually more stunning and fascinating.
